Dr Alvin Chan
Graduated with a degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (specialising in Artificial Intelligence) and followed by a PhD from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland
Formerly a senior research scientist with DSO National Laboratories that contributed towards Singapore’s national security. A specialist in the areas of information leakages, counter-intelligence activities and critical infrastructure protection, he analyzed emerging threats and identified technology to secure and enhance business processes.
Dr Khoo Eng Tat
An educator and researcher in virtual reality, augmented reality and serious games. Board director of AsiaVR Association. Formerly technical director of VR/AR companies, he led interdisciplinary teams and spearheaded new product development. Graduated with a PhD from NUS (Electrical and Computer Engineering), he pioneered the development of intergenerational mixed reality games.
Janevy Low, Principal of Neuromath
She was a former Head of Department for Math in a Primary School and PSLE marker for more than a decade before joining Neuromath 8 years ago. She has personally helped close to a thousand students achieved A and A* in PSLE in her 20 years of teaching. Her passion remains putting the spark back in the students’ eyes, helping them to enjoy learning, regain the confidence they need for those yet performers, that they go away with a “can do” attitude.
Vanessa , Teacher of Neuromath
Graduated from NUS with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) majoring in Psychology. She was also trained in Neuro-Linguistics programming (NLP) and Cognitive enhancement. Her training together with many years of teaching experiences have provided her with an insight into how enhancing a child’s cognitive abilities will enable the child to become a better problem solver in Mathematics (and beyond). She has since designed materials and programmes that helped students maximise their potential and achieved the marks that they truly deserved.
Norman Tien, Founder of Neuromath
Mr Norman Tien, a PSLE Math Trainer with over 20 years of teaching experience. His passionate drive to help every child excel acts as a catalyst, inspiring his team to deliver quality teaching and help learners realise their full potential. Supported by a dynamic team, Neuromath has delivered the learning solutions to thousands of students from pre-primary to secondary levels.
Jeremy Tan, Head of Curriculum Development in CIT and Lower Primary Specialist
Graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a Master in Education specialising in Primary Education. As a former Head of Department for Math in a Primary School, he led and trained teachers in innovating teaching practices towards integrating Critical and Inventive Thinking skills into the Math Curriculum. His passion is to bring the joy of learning to children. His specialisation in Lower Primary helped students in Primary 1 and 2 develop the passion and interest in Math right from at the beginning of their primary education.
